No Experience in Camping? Here Are 3 Tips to Start Your Day!

Planning on Going Camping... But Have No Experience?

Here are some tips on how to start a camping experience!

1. ALWAYS GO BIG WITH TENTS

First thing's first: find the right tent. When you’re shopping for you and your partner for your first camping trip and the tent is labeled a two-person tent, you might want to buy a bigger one.

The extra space will be the storage space for your clothes, bedding, and gear. For example, unless you’re a particularly “rugged” type…

  • Two Adults – An adult couple will not fit comfortably in most two-person tents. Try a four-person tent instead.
  • Four Adults – A group of four occupants will be much better off in a six-person tent.
  • Six Adults – A group of six is better accommodated in an eight-person tent.

2. SHOP FOR SUPPLIES

If you have no experience camping, make sure that you have enough water and food for the entire camping trip! Buy some chips and other easy-to-eat consumables as well as fire starter—and you cannot do better than InstaFire fire starter!

3. FIND A GREAT PLACE TO CAMP

Want to enjoy your camping trip? Choose the best spot in the field and look for leveled ground. Remove the twigs, rocks, and other debris to avoid moisture and make sure the immediate surrounding area slopes away from the campsite.

You don't want your tent to collect water from the rain, and you don’t want the site itself to become inundated with water.

Happy camping!
